"How to use a Color Palette"

In 2 previous posts, "Creating a Color Palette" and "Choosing Your Colors - Color Inspiration from Photos", I showed how you can create a color palette using your photos. You can use a color picker to color grab colors and then decide which colors you would like to use in a color palette. It's a good idea to limit your colors to 2-4 when designing a website, but more colors can be used if the colors are in color harmony.

So how can you use a color palette?

This is a very simple example of using a simple black and white photo and using a color palette to color it. The color palette can also be used in designing a website.

I used Adobe Photshop 7.0 to paint the photo, using the color palette.
